  • All Stars to Knoxville?

Hunter racing asked about the weather at Knoxville today so the potential for them racing at Knoxville this weekend seems possible! Also Caleb Helms is headed there this weekend per Andy Potter tweet "Excited about heading to @knoxvilleraces Saturday with @Caleb_Helms40."

Seems like along way to go just to race one night. I understand going that far to get some laps at Knoxville, but if going to drive that far I would hit up the WoO race in Missouri on Friday night with a bigger purse to try and make the trip worth it ... (IMO).

Entry fee's, tires, stiffer competition, and probably some guys from Knoxville will head there so your chances of losing money go up for zero gain in knowledge, setup, etc that could use elsewhere. Gotta remember racing is a business and teams only have so much to work with.

You use money every-time you leave the shop no matter it is entry fee/pit pass, tires, fuel, truck/rig, etc...

All I am saying is ... if you believe in yourself to travel all the way out to Knoxville where they have some of the stiffest competition in local racing for $3,000 top prize than might as well go to a WoO show as well where you can possibly make the A-Main and make some money ($48,000 A-Main purse) and a $10,000 top prize.

You can easily go to Knoxville and not make the A-Main as well.

If your going that far your not that worried about money (if you was your likely just staying home) or should say you wouldn't be going that far if you don't think your good.

There likely won't be enough cars at Knoxville for a B

I think its like $18 for the broadcast. Cheaper than driving to Knoxville...and every track around here is under water.

I'm considering it after the derby. They start at 6:45 central time right?
