EDIT 9:11 PM. Sounds like Shawn Dancer is running at least this weekend if not all of speedweek per the promotional press release on insidelinepromations.
Think Shaffer has a good chance at some of that bonus money ... he has been running well lately and does well on a lot of these Ohio tracks ... think PPM, Kemenah, and of course Rico has a good chance for some bonus money.

Not sure how many races Jac is planning on running or not haven't seen anything yet.

Quick question. Will the speed week championship not be crowned till September 2nd with the make up feature at Attica?

I had the same thought ... especially knowing about all the extra bonus money for "wins" and the week points championship as well which could come in play.

That Sept 2nd show should be a very good one being a double feature especially knowing that it is the Dirt Classic with $10,000 to win and that Wayne County is having a $10,000 to win the next night (Sept 3rd) All-Star show as well so you would think most of these guys will be back and possibly more for that big weekend shows. Not to mention that Attica is having a $5,000 to win show on that Friday Sept. 1st as well.

Attica Make up race will NOT count towards Speedweek Champion points, But the Bonus money will still be avaliable.

Is there another event going on next Wednesday the 21st or some type of conflict that made them not schedule to make this race up during the open date in speedweek?

No schedule conflict ... think they wanted a day off for teams along with if a show gets the entire program washed out ... seems to me the right idea of not using it for just a A-Main event at Attica ... that would be tough on the teams and fans to go back to Attica for possibly a 30 minute event on a possibly make-up date ... especially with a lot of rain possible at times.

If anything I was hoping they would have stuck Mansfied in there a couple of weeks ago when they were rained out for the All-Star race.

I wanted the Mansfield race too. I also don't agree with just 90 show up points being awarded to everyone who ran last night. they should of just scored it the way they lined up the feature for speedweek points. Not fair in my eyes for the ones who qualified good, ran there ass off in the heat races, transfer through the bmain and placed where they did in the dashes. instead we have philo and conley getting the same points that cars who couldn't get out of the c-main got.

If you think about it the allstars are saying that last night didn't happen as far as scoring so why not run it Wednesday. not just a 20 min follow the leader make up race but have another complete show so they can charge everyone $22 again.

Why not just come back Wednesday night and run the sprint feature, late model feature, and maybe add a non-qualifiers race for any sprints that didn't make the show. Open to anyone that didn't transfer to the A last night. Run that first and give the winner some extra money, along with a little more than what non-qualifiers would have been paid had the show finished last night. Everyone with their ticket or pit pass gets in at no-charge. Anyone without a ticket pays $5 and new pit passes pay $10. The extra money for the non-qualifiers race will come from money that doesn't get paid out to the teams that don't come back and from people that didn't have a ticket/pit pass from last night. So you get to finish the show, teams get their money for racing, and fans get their money's worth without having to pay for another complete show. Too late now, but it has worked at other tracks. The American Ethanol Late Models just did it at Merritt this week.
