More good work, GT. Notice I didn't say its a Pit Gate exclusive. You're on Hoseheads too. I guess that makes it a semi-exclusive. Its good information that will make this weekend's racing more interesting.

The only one I double posted on to hoseheads was the all star points

I don't read the Hosehead forum very often, and I never post on it. One reply to your post contained this interesting observation about the All Stars. The fact that no driver is dominating the series is why the car counts have been good this season. That's an astute observation and it might be accurate.

I'd say it's very accurate. Everyone knows that going into it they have a chance. I think that's why a lot of outlaw shows only get 26 or so cars a lot of locals don't think they'll be able to compete.

So for the fast events at Attica and Fremont Dont count for their track points? Do they get show up points? Seemed to notice byron reed isn't here for the fast show tonight.

Double track points didn't matter to Byron Reed. I heard from a fan that Byron's kid had a baseball game last nite and that's why Byron wasn't there. I expect him to be at Fremont tonite. The trouble with the track in turn 2 was unusal for ARP. The SW wind didn't help track conditions, but my car was dust free after the show. Will my car be dust free at Fremont tonite?

Actually it was tennis as he indicated on twitter.

As for Fremont being dust free ... I will leave that alone.

I will never fault a driver for putting family or work before racing. Racing is a great hobby but family is always first. As far as the fast and track points, the TRACK points are doubled and the FAST points are normal. The FAST and Track each accumulate points.

It was not my intent to find fault with Reed for not racing. My intent was a veiled bash on double points nite. I think its dumb. Why? NASCAR has tried lots of dumb stuff to generate interest and excitement and all have failed. A double points race is the one thing NASCAR has not tried. Even NASCAR knows double points is mathmatical trickery to make an event APPEAR to be extra important.

Seems like most tracks have at least one double points night. And yeah it's basically to make a regular show seem more important. But cost is same and makes it interesting at end of season.
