I have been driving back and forth across Ohio today mostly in line close to Attica area. The rain has really been steady and as someone mentioned the ground is very soft. Just not sure they can pull it off with the spring rains. Temps. not looking good either. Needs lots of sun.
We are having a wet spring this year. It is the water laying on the ground that will be the biggest issue, if it cant drain. Im not a fan of 40s, rain and dampness to sit out in.

I give them credit for trying early season events. Some years it works, and some years it doesn’t. Hope they stick with this concept and schedule early season openings in the future .

I'm glad the soakfest is getting done early this year. Last year there was 4 straight weeks in may with zero sprint car races.

Yes, and thankfully they don’t close for 4 consecutive weeks for their Fair. Just 2 weeks.

Would like to point out that if the current schedule plays out, Knoxville will be starting the same weekend as Attica now. Yikes.

Over the years more and more tracks try to start in March which is a crap shoot go back to last weekend in April or first week in May won't have all this bitching, but then again people expect to see the next years schedule 2 weeks after the last race of the season. As a famous football player once said R.E.L.A.X.

Now if Attica didn’t have these races scheduled and it was in the 60’s and sunny people would ***** about them not racing. Do it like they are, put races on the calendar and if weather sucks cancel them.

We need to schedule in january too, there is always that one weird week that's like 80 degrees lol.

Agreed, they are better off to have a race scheduled so they can take advantage of good weather in the rare instance that it is conducive to racing. Stealing one from Mother Nature early can offset a cancellation later in the season.

Hey, weather wise, we could have raced to Saturdays in Fwb. It wasn't bad.
But Id rather have stuff scheduled and then weather cancel than not having races that I often get to attend happen.

2 inches of snow on the ground. Mother Nature having fun.

The St.Louis Arch is rumored to be a weather control device. If it stays dry this week, Attica parking areas may be firm enough to for an event this Friday. If not, blame the space aliens who operate the Arch. Still hoping for an Attica/Fremont weekend on the 13th and 14th.
