Damn people & some were just having the discussion about tracks closing, so it sounds like that would really not be a bad thing since another track came back to life. Remember Attica once never was & Limaland was the S**t.

If this does go to a sanction it might be a maybe for me with the All Stars & a big hell no if it is WOO. They have enough. #Leaveitbe

I know I wouldn't be missed so I don't need your input on it !!!

Was looking at web site and saw new updated events.

There is no Great Lakes race this year which was BOSS and FAST.

I was maybe expecting BOSS, FAST or AFCS combined show.

Is Mansfield going to add any more shows or are they cutting bacj?

Surprised to see the GLDN dropped, I went both years and enjoyed the alternative to Knoxville even that first year when the 305 feature pushed off at 3AM. Maybe it'll get added down the road. Looking forward to both 410 shows this year.

AFCS will be Attica/Fremont only like it was designed to be.

I'm curious how they can justify maintenance and upkeep on the facility when they only have 5 paying events the whole year.

I would say it didn't make a big of a splash as he wanted which might mean not enough outsiders came to this event or simply didn't put enough butts in the seats to make enough money for him to try it again for a alternative for Knoxville.

I think the stands holds 7000 or maybe 10k.
x 30 a ticket being SRO is 210,000 not counting reserved seats, suites and pit gate and back suites.
Then food, beer sales, event shirts plus outside sponsors.
                Income from pay per view.
Im sure he generated plenty of income to cover all that.
There are also lots of volunteers who work there that arent paid. Owner and his partner do a lot of work themselves.
Having the limited special events brings in big crowds.

He is smart business guy cause he is still there.

I hope he is making money and we will continue to see the big races at Mansfield. I am very much looking forward to the SCWC and who will be showing up this year. I seen that the 69k put out their schedule and will be back for another run at the 100k this year.

This is the third and final year of the lease-to-buy option that Sommer had. I hope he chooses to purchase at the end of the season as it's certainly brought a lot of attention back to Richland County. Even though I'm not in the area anymore it's still near my hometown and Hope to see it keep going.

EDIT: Also I added this to the comprehensive schedule on January 31st, it was already up on the site then.

It would be nice if he would buy it.
Thinking though that all his other venues have been leased places.
                      Interesting to see what happens.
