Re: Missing Ghost Tracks beginning with "C"
I Raced at Columbia right around 1960. They ran Jalopies, and Karts. It was paved, 1/5 mile, or shorter if I remember right. The entrance to the track was approx 1/4 mile south of Osborn Rd on the west side of Jaquay Rd.
I believe the owner/promoter lived on Osborn Rd.

Re: Missing Ghost Tracks beginning with "C"
We raced go-karts at a track called Cardington in 2001 as part of the NNRS Norther National Racing Series.

Kit Henry may know information about this track, I know they raced karts also..

Re: Missing Ghost Tracks beginning with "C"
kartington is a small paved trioval...I'd be shocked if they ever raced cars on it...20 cars could probably stretch all the way around the track...still there though Smile

Re: Missing Ghost Tracks beginning with "C"
NC Ghost Hunter,
Cloverleaf ,  asphalt track in Cleveland,
Closed down after the promoter dug a pond in the center for a motor boat demo derby and a couple weeks later a late model driver flipped into it and drowned, was reported he had a heart attack though before he hit the water.
